Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (ARMY OF ONE) (3-1) - This $400,000 daughter of 'Scat Daddy' stretches out to a mile after finishing a wide and even 4th when debuting Nov. 22 at Churchill Downs going six furlongs. Trainer Rodolphe Brisset wins at a 23% rate second time out and is a very sharp 31% on the distance increase. This filly enters off a bullet breeze Dec. 7 at Payson Park and gets top billing today.
2nd pick: #7 (Princess Trina) (7-2) - This filly has been given two months of freshening since finishing a pace-setting 2nd going seven furlongs in an 'off the turf' contest at Belmont Park Oct. 13. Dizney home-bred has worked five times here since Nov. 7, and trainer Ralph Nicks has Jose Ortiz aboard.
3rd pick: #8 (Fun Finder) (5-1) - Lasix is added to this filly who raced well when debuting Nov. 15 at Churchill Downs going seven furlongs on a muddy track. She had a tough post (the rail) and had to drop back and try a very wide rally. Trainer Ken McPeek wins at a 26% clip when adding lasix and at an 18% rate on the distance stretch. The filly has a fine outside post and can factor at a square price.
4th pick: #1 (Talk the Talk) (8-1) - She rallied while wide to finish an even 4th going a two-turn mile Nov. 18 at Gulfstream Park West. Only her second start, it was her first since debuting in a Philly Park sprint Sept. 10. Working nicely at the Palm Meadows Center, she's capable of factoring with some improvement.
