Top pick: #7 (COCOA) (4-1) - Grey filly had a tough outside post (10th of 10) last out and raced evenly while wide in a contest common to several others entered here. It was a solid effort and she gets a slight edge this afternoon.
2nd pick: #6 (Senorita Sangria) (5-2) - Lightly-raced filly was 1 1/2 lengths better than "Cocoa" last out after saving ground from her inside post and rallying to finish second. By far a career best and daughter of turf sire "Senor Swinger" is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Hidden Intentions) (5-2) - She exits the same last race as both "Cocoa" & "Sangria" and split that pair when she held down the show spot after chasing the pace. Home-bred is making her 13th start and will be dropping to the new low.
4th pick: #3 (Heaven Help Me) (5-1) - Filly drops and stretches after an even effort facing tougher going 5-furlongs here Feb. 21. It was her first since Nov. 1 and first off a trainer change to Jane Cibelli. Daughter of "Broken Vow" is brought back quickly, and it's of note that she's taken money in all three appearances.
