Top pick: #1 (SUZANNE'S FRIEND) - Improving gelding finished a pace-chasing second last out at Calder going 5 furlongs and draws the rail today and stretches-out an 1/8th. Race was his best since his maiden win last summer at Monmouth and he's the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Timber West) - Exits the same race as the top choice and he was only a 1/2 length back of that rival at the finish. Training well at Ocala since that effort and he should be in this from start-to-finish.
3rd pick: #7 (Rivrav) - Longshot is training very fast on the local dirt for his first race in just over two months. Has excellent early speed and this trainer (Larry Rivelli)/Jockey(Earl Baird) teams wins at a 27% clip when teamed-up.
