2nd pick: #3 (Royal Straight) - Colt by "Smarty Jones" stretches-out a furlong after finishing a close-up 4th here at this condition on Jan. 8. Has talent, is lightly raced, and is in a good barn (Jimmy Jerkens). Win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (De Price) - Exits the same race as "Royal Straight" and he defeated that rival in that contest. Speed/stalker is in a good barn (Dale Romans) and should appreciate the extra furlong he races at today. Obvious contender.
