Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #9 (TWISTCAT CANDY) (4-1) - He has good form on wet tracks and is racing second back from a 2.5 month break. One-run type draws outside of the speed and gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #2 (Frosty the Dragon) (3-1) - Finger Lakes shipper has plenty of early speed and is nicely spotted off an eight week break. Colt breaks just of the rail and I almost made him the top selection.
3rd pick: #3 (Time Will Tell) (5-1) - Blinkers go on as this gelding by 'Malibu Moon' drops to a new low in price. Most of his races have been on the dirt and he enters of a quick half-mile breeze here Dec. 31. Five-year-old must be left in the mix.
