Stalking type is working steadily here for her return and is dropping into a claimer for the first time. I give her a slight edge.
2nd pick: #6 (Anomaly) (9-2) - One of two fillies making their debuts, home bred has been working steadily here since mid-September and her last five morning drills are well above average. She's from a capable barn (Stanley Gold), is bred for speed, and is a threat if ready.
3rd pick: #5 (Borealis Night) (5-1) - The other first-time starter sold for $450,000 as a yearling back in August of 2016. She debuts for a $50K tag so she must have some issues. Filly has breezed nine times here since Oct. 7 and trainer Ralph Nicks (16% first out) also own this daughter of 'Astrology'. In the mix.
