He's had major problems at the start in all three attempts, but none of his own doing. 3yo did rally last out to finish a close up 4th, and he has leading rider Irad Ortiz, Jr. aboard for the first time.
2nd pick: #10 (Mr Nobody) (6-1) - He moves back to the turf after tiring badly at this level and distance on a sloppy track in a contest that was taken 'off the turf' Feb. 13. Competitive in three straight on the grass prior to that, and is a win candidate today at a square price.
3rd pick: #7 (Barbie'sKing) (15-1) - Longshot lost all chances last out as he had serious traffic problems into the first turn. He has some early speed, and veteran front-end specialist C.C.Lopez is aboard for this attempt.
4th pick: #6 (Restart) (9-2) - He rallied to finish 3rd at this level and distance Jan. 10. He's clearly gotten better since switching to the turf, and Jose Ortiz is back on the re-ride.
