He's facing much tougher, but has gone 4-2-2-0 here in the past, worked a bullet three furlongs Jan 15, and trainer Ron Spatz has Javier Castellano aboard for the first time.
3rd pick: #6 (Quijote) (8-1) - One-run type raced both wide and evenly when finishing 6 1/2 lengths in back of 'X Y Jet' here Dec. 23. He had won a small stakes facing state breds at this distance Nov. 11 at Gulfstream Park West and enters of a bullet 3 furlong breeze Jan. 13.
4th pick: #5 (Bold Envoy) (5-1) - Very lightly-raced, he moves way up in class following a 5 length gate-to-wire score here at this distance facing weaker. It was his first off a private trainer change to Todd Pletcher and a career best figure was earned.
