She breezed a bullet half-mile from the gate at the Palm Meadows Center Feb 23, the best time of 79 at this distance. Javier Castellano is aboard and I like this one's chances.
2nd pick: #1 (Ready to Tango) (5-2) - She rallied to finish third of 9, missing by just over a length when debuting here in a 5-furlong grass sprint Jan. 13. Given a two month break, trainer Todd Pletcher (28% 2nd time out) switches her to the dirt (22%), and it's noted that this daughter of'More Than Ready' was bet down to 2-1 first time out. A win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Beauty Buzz) (9-2) - A $250,000 filly by 'Bernardini', she debuts off of some fine local works, including a sharp half-mile from the gate Feb. 15. Trainer Mark Hennig is capable first out (17%) and he has Tyler Gaffalione aboard.
4th pick: #6 (Golden Splendor) (10-1) - Another making her first start, she's been in steady training here since early November. She breezed a bullet 3 furlongs from the gate in :35.60 Jan. 5 and her trainer (Vic Barboza Jr.) is having a solid meet 13 for 56 (23%).
