The effort earned her the highest last out figure in this field and she's dropping to a new low for this attempt.
2nd pick: #11 (Just Say Lucky) (15-1) - Longshot has shown some ability in both turf starts and is training steadily for her first since Oct. 8. She has a bit of early speed and I think she can factor at a big price.
3rd pick: #6 (Deer Island Diva) (8-1) - She's the field's only older runner and this mare moves from dirt to turf in her second back from a 9-month layoff. Stalker has been competitive several times in the past facing tougher and is clearly better when on the grass. In the mix.
4th pick: #7 (Brenda's G L P) (7-2) - Speedy and lightly-raced, she finished second in her first two starts sprinting on the grass. The latest effort saw her tire on the dirt Oct. 31 and the switch back to the turf should have her in this from gate-to-wire at a short price.
