Three-year-old was beaten just under a length racing here at this level and distance April 29. She set a pressured pace that day and held gamely down the stretch. From a capable barn (Sturges Ducoing) and this filly gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #3 (Amazing Arlie) (4-1) - Freshened up since March 17, she was competitive in four straight starts racing at the Fair Grounds over the winter. She doesn't need the lead to be successful and is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Diamonds for Gi Gi) (6-1) - No-speed type has been freshened up since late March. Some of her best races have come been local and she should get a fast/and or contested pace to rally into. Stretch threat.
4th pick: #7 (Deedeelicious) (6-1) - Stalker has some ability and likes this particular distance 4-1-1-1. All the speed is to her left in the gate and that should lead to a comfortable trip. Late threat at a square price.
