2nd pick: #10 (Southomo) (15-1) - Price play hasn't raced since early my when he showed nothing in a local start. He has blinkers added, drops to a new low, and has a fine work here on Aug. 17.
3rd pick: #4 (Trey J) (5-1) - Much improved of late, he's 3-0-2-1 since late June, and brings a strong closing kick to the contest. The faster the pace, the better his chances.
4th pick: #5 (Too Much Sense) (6-1) - Speedy grey gelding set a solid pace and just failed to last here facing a bit weaker on Aug. 16. He's back in shape following a seven week break and his early speed makes him dangerous.
5th pick: #2 (Rudesill) (8-1) - He stretches out in distance after finishing second here sprinting at this tag Aug. 28. Career best came off a two month break, and he could grab a share at a nice price
