It was her first local attempt and her 2nd win in a row as she cleared the 2l condition. Nicely spotted this evening, she'll be tough if able to avoid a wide journey.
2nd pick: #4 (Smokin Carol) (5-1) - Competitive in nine straight starts, the last three of those have come here at this level going 5 furlongs. She's stretching out in distance and should be involved every step.
3rd pick: #2 (Salute Elle) (12-1) - Longshot tired while wide after breaking from an outside post here at this level and distance in the mud Nov 9. Speedy sort draws much better and it's a big plus that leading rider Tim Thornton stays aboard.
4th pick: #1 (Show'em the Heat) (10-1) - Veteran is another that has a much better post tonight than in her last pair and has done most all of her best work locally. 4yo is 14-2-3-3 at Delta Downs and is in the mix at a big price.
