2nd pick: #9 (Lady Quality) (5-2) - A lightly raced 6yo mare, speedy sort ships from the Fair Grounds where she tired badly going a mile facing $15K claimers. She drops to a new low in her third back following a 5.5-month layoff and she's been sharp in both previous local starts facing tougher. A very strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Regal Heiress) (6-1) - This mare tired here to finish 4th at this level and distance Jan. 12. Involved in a pace due that evening, she runs first off a claim by Isai Gonzalez and he's won with 7 of 19 (37%) with that angle since the beginning of 2018.
4th pick: #3 (Lucky for Us) (6-1) - This 4yo by 'Lookin At Lucky' has had good spots to strike from in her last pair but has leveled off late to check in 4th in each. It would only take a bit of improvement for her to get a slice of this.
