(# 6) NEW JERSEY PHIL - Horse has obviously had his problems with many gaps in his racing past. However, when he is right and in around this claiming tag he is a very consistent racehorse. Raced well in Florida last summer and fall and was in against tougher at that time. Return race here after eight months at this level was fine. Comes back quickly and should perform well today.

(# 4) Brave Charmer - All tries at this claiming level are good. Horse was claimed last out for $5K, and new connections bring him back at that price. Last race produced highest speed figure in the past year, and he should be in it at the finish.

(# 9) North Beach Condo - This is his third start off of a four-month hiatus. Showed some forward progress in the second start and would need more improvement today.
