(# 3) AFLEET'S DESIRE - She's been competitive without winning over Santa Anita's conventional surface, and Hollywood's Polytrack. Tricky seven-furlong distance should not pose a problem, and filly also likes to be involved through-out, a valuable assett in a race such as this. Worked over this surface a few days ago.

(# 11) Robot Woman - Distance outing at Hollywood on June 21st should give her some "bottom" as she switches back to a one-turn affair. Raced well against better sprinting, and crafty Mitchell barn is in charge.

(# 2) La Petra - Last outing is a tough one to explain, as her only poor showing up to that point was on the turf. She did have a wide journey in a 6F race that day, and today tries 7F for the first time. Best effort was at 6.5F.

(# 7) Violet Brook - Makes her third start of current cycle, drops a tad for trainer Hess. Figures are lite, but if she can run, she'll show it today.
