(# 3) JUPITER'S STONE - There appears to be enough early speed signed on here, with a quartet of stretch-out sprinters, that this late-kicker can have a major impact down the stretch. Middle moved into a dawdling pace in last after breaking slowly. Has a big chance to run them all down.

(# 8) Top Leese - Claimed by Mullins last out from a very obscure outfit. Four-year-old has run well in both starts, and new connections see fit to stretch him out and switch surfaces with him right away. Has a pair of nice works since the claim.

(# 9) Alfred Kent - Speed attempt two back in his only attempt on the grass. May have needed that as a conditioner, as he immediately ran his best figure ever next out sprinting on the poly at Hollywood. Big drill on the July 25 for this, and think he'll run well.

(# 's 4 and 10) Big Ed and Fantastic Meeting - "Ed" stretches out, has speed and tries grass for the first time. "Meeting" goes first turf off the claim by Pat Gallagher. Use in bottoms of exotics.
