Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (RIP CITY) (8-1) - Longshot stretches back out following a pair of even efforts when sprinting. Gelding had a tough outside post (11 of 12) last out and had a very wide trip. He moves to the rail today and has a good shot at a square price.
2nd pick: #2 (Much More Halo) (7-2) - A $390,000 son of 'More THan Ready,' he missed by two lengths debuting at Santa Anita in a five-furlong grass sprint Oct. 20. Colt had a traffic issue that day and is brought back quickly by Bob Baffert, 24% second time out. He stretches him out today, and that's a strong 33% move (28 of 85 by the trainer in 2018-19).
3rd pick: #3 (Goalie) (3-1) - Well backed in his debut at Santa Anita Oct. 20, he was away slowly before finishing fast to miss by just under a length. Colt was a bit over a length in front of 'Much More Halo' in that sprint and is sent longer by 'Phil D'Amato. An obvious threat.
4th pick: #5 (Kiss Today Goodbye) (15-1) - Longshot exits the same sprint as both 'Much More Halo' and 'Goalie' and was only beaten 2.5 lengths. $150K son of 'Cairo Prince' may grab a share at a big price.
