2nd pick: #3 (Dangerfield) (5-2) - Another of the O'Neill trio, he raced evenly when debuting June 26 at Santa Anita. Barn has worked him twice since and is adding blinkers. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Blue Azul) (6-1) - The Midwest-based barn of Chris Hartman wins at a high percentage every year. He initially 'prepped' this gelding at Churchill Downs before shipping him here earlier this month. Working above average, and Hartman wins at a 17% rate first out.
4th pick: #1 (Orejas) (12-1) - Debuting longshot has the rail and a quick half-mile work from the gate here July 18. The post is a negative for a first-time-starter, so he'll need to break sharply.
