Trainer Pete Miller brings him back quickly, shortens him up in distance, and drops him down to the price tag of his last win ($8,000).
2nd pick: #9 (Adair) (5-2) - The morning line favorite, he's won three of his last four starts. Speed/stalker drops down a bit after clearing the 3l condition last out and is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Swiss Cheese) (8-1) - Lightly raced, he's been on the sidelines since Dec. 18th. Competitive in all seven appearances, he has a staling style and ran well here last summer/fall going 3-1-2-0. A serious player if ready off the seven-month layoff.
4th pick: #7 (Northern Iowa) (12-1) - Longshot has some late kick and should get a fast and/or contested pace to rally into. However, unless there's a complete collapse up front, a small slice is his ceiling.
