Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (ANTHONYSGOTGAME) (3-1) - Gelding was away slowly and fought with his rider when debuting at this tag going six furlongs Oct. 11th at Santa Anita. He still managed to finish a solid 2nd, and he was claimed that afternoon by Doug O'Neill. New barn wins at a 20% rate first off the claim and will stretch him out a furlong. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #10 (Where's Bubba) (4-1) - Speedy and lightly raced, gelding tired while extremely wide Oct. 25th at Santa Anita. He's worked since and draws a nice outside post to use her early speed from. A strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Affluent Asset) (6-1) - Grey gelding is taking a big drop in class and cutting back from an even trip going a mile. Fits, and he has the best overall 'figures.' Must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #7 (Desert Express) (5-1) - Speed/stalker is lightly raced, improving, and racing third back from a long layoff. His latest effort was a career best, and he has to be left under consideration.
