Top pick: #4 (VOLKONSKY) (5-2) - The probable favorite, gelding has finished second in all three starts, the latest pair coming on the grass at Hollywood at this level. Stalker is working sharply for this attempt and can break his maiden with a trouble free trip.
2nd pick: #9 (Brave Act) (7-2) - Speedy gelding set a fast pace and tired late to finish fourth, beaten a 1/2 length by "Volkonsky" last out at Hollywood. Solid effort came off a a 2 1/2 month layoff and he's worked fast since. Strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Red Globe) (3-1) - He has absolutely no early speed and has made up good ground in three of his last four. He would benefit the most if a fast/and or contested pace were to develop.
4th pick: #8 (Heat Flash) (12-1) - One of two from the Abram's barn, he tends to race evenly and last out raced wide while finishing back of the top two picks in here. With just a bit of improvement, he can factor at long odds.
5th pick: #7 (Hotradamus) (8-1) - The second of the Abram's pair, he hasn't raced since late October, but is training above average for his return. He has some positional speed and can impact if readay.
