2nd pick: #4 (Mike Operator) (2-1) - 'Mike' enters off of three straight solid efforts since dropping down to this $20K claiming price. Speed/stalker finished 3rd going a mile Oct. 26 after checking in 2nd in two straight sprints. A strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Red Valor) (9-2) - He was a winner by just over five lengths at this tag here going 5.5 furlongs Aug. 9, but was disqualified and placed 8th. In his follow up Sept. 27 at Santa Anita he tired badly when doubled up a $40K tag. Back down to $20K, he draws well here, and must be left in the mix.
