Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (ZEN DEPUTY) (7-2) - Son of the speedy 'Zensational' has been competitive in both starts facing tougher. He's had to be sent hard in both from inside posts and is moving out in the gate. Home bred will be tough to beat in this spot.
2nd pick: #1 (Forever Us) (4-1) - Colt raced evenly when finishing fourth debuting July 10 at Santa Anita. In a capable barn (Eddie Truman) he brings him back in just over three weeks and home bred breaks from the rail.
3rd pick: #2 (Iceberg Slim) (12-1) - Longshot races as a NEW gelding this afternoon. Away slowly in his debut, last out he ran very wide from an outside post. Both of those came against tougher and trainer Vann Belvoir drops him into a claimer and has Sal Gonzalez replacing apprentice Pena.
