Premium Pick

Top pick: #3 (DIAMOND OF BLUE) (7-2) - Speedy gelding has spent his entire career racing on synthetic surfaces and has gone 15-5-3-1. He's two for five locally and is dropping a bit in class and stretching out in distance after a good try in a local sprint July 17. Race was his first in almost 11 months, and he's the horse to beat.

2nd pick: #7 (Dress Code) (3-1) - He's already won at this meet when he went wire-to-wire for a $20K tag July 19. Veteran has won more times (11) than any of the others and has a fine record on "poly" surfaces (15-3-5-2). An obvious win candidate.

3rd pick: #4 (Graeme Crackerjack) (5-2) - He hasn't raced on a synthetic surface since last fall, but has done well on the dirt so far this year (8-1-2-2). One run type is two for 10 on "poly" tracks and can grab a share with his best.

4th pick: #6 (Woodman's Luck) (6-1) - Veteran is taking a big drop in class and going turf to "poly" in his second back off almost an eight-week break. Fits with these, has back class, and has run well here without winning (6-0-3-1). Stretch threat.
