2nd pick: #1 (Visual Magic) (5-1) - Daughter of 'Jimmy Creed' moves back to the grass and is stretching out in distance. She raced evenly debuting a 5 furlong turf sprint here Sept. 2, then tired to finish third after chasing a fast pace going 6 furlongs on the dirt at Santa Anita Oct. 14. She has therail and should factor at a square price.
3rd pick: #7 (Gold Arrow) (3-1) - 4yo filly by 'Medaglia d'Oro' is one on three older runners and is racing second back following an 8-month layoff. She finished second in both starts early this year going a mile on the Santa Anita dirt, but tired badly in a return sprint off the long absence. Back in 26 days and on the grass for the first time, she should show whatever she has in this spot.
4th pick: #6 (Vegas Palm) (4-1) - Another of the older fillies, she's been on the sidelines since finishing 7th of 9, beaten 4.5 lengths going 9 furlongs on the grass at Santa Anita Jan. 11. That start came after being out of action for 9.5 months so she does have issues. On the plus side, Mike Smith is aboard.
