2nd pick: #7 (Silver Chrome) (4-1) - Freshened up since June 9, trainer Vann Belvoir is cutting him back in distance in his return. His last three works are above average and grey gelding brings some early speed to the party. In the mix.
3rd pick: #4 (Splendid Cause) (7-2) - He made his debut well into his 5-year-old season, so he obviously has some physical issues. Grey gelding did show high early speed in his lone start before tiring and trainer Len Powell put a sharp five furlong work into him here Aug 15.
4th pick: #3 (Runbrorun) (3-1) - On the sidelines since May 15 of 2015, he was competitive in both starts back then facing tougher. Working steadily for his return, colt is taking a big drop in class and is a factor if ready.
