2nd pick: #3 (Bean and the Bug) (9-2) - Blinkers go on $150K son of 'Palace Malice' who is dropping into the claiming ranks for the first time. He was much improved last out over his debut and is a win candidate in this spot.
3rd pick: #4 (Itsthattime) (6-1) - He rated before making a wide bid, then tired to finish a 1/2 length behind 'Knife's Edge' here at this trip Nov. 15 for a $50K tag. Gelding has some speed, draws a better post, and Bejarano stays aboard.
4th pick: #8 (Color War) (5-2) - The morning line favorite, he had a perfect trip when finishing second of five, missing by just over 3 lengths Oct. 18 at Santa Anita racing at this level and distance. In the mix, but believe he's beatable.
