2nd pick: #4 (Dark Energy) (4-1) - Home bred by 'Giant's Causeway' has been competitive in three straight at this level on the grass. Trainer John Shirreffs adds blinkers and this 3-year-old colt is a stretch threat.
3rd pick: #5 (Aztec Warrior) (3-1) - No-speed type rallied strong to miss by a length Oct 2 at Santa Anita. He was a 1/2 length better than 'Dark Energy,' but he received a very quick pace to close into. Improving and a late factor again this afternoon.
4th pick: #1 (Bedeviled) (6-1) - Another with no early speed, he checked in fourth five lengths behind 'Klondike Creek' last out. In shape, working well, and he draws a ground saving post.
