She won her seasonal debut when taking Oaklawn Park's Bayakoa Stakes (G3) at this distance Feb. 18. Sharp in seven straight starts, she has the rail, a speed/stalking style, and I like her chances.
2nd pick: #4 (Awe Emma) (15-1) - This filly sold for $2,000,000 as a weanling back in Nov. of 2015. She showed nothing in her first pair last summer, but after almost a seven-month layoff she's won all three starts this year at Oaklawn Park. All have been in gate-to-wire style and one was on a sloppy surface April 6. The second of the Asmussen pair, she's lightly raced, still improving, and has room for upside.
3rd pick: #3 (Divine Miss Grey) (7-2) - Very consistent mare has gone 11-5-3-1 in 2018-19 and won a G2 here Nov. 3. She ships from Aqueduct where she won her seasonal debut there March 10 going a mile in a $150K stakes. In shape and this 5yo by Divine Park' has won four-of-five on 'off' tracks.
4th pick: #2 (Blue Prize) (3-1) - Talented Argentine import hasn't raced since finishing a close up fourth here in the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Distaff (G1) Nov. 3. She been sharp in all six local attempts and has been training above average at Keeneland. A major threat if ready.
