However, she had to be sent hard from the rail and this afternoon's outside post in this one turn mile is advantageous. She moves up in price but 4yo has been competitive here at this $16K claiming price in he past. I like her chances.
2nd pick: #3 (Dancing Waves) (8-5) - As mentioned above, she was an easy winner last out while well in front of 'Racey Receey'. Irish import has had a fine year and is 3 for 6 in 2018 with all three victories coming at Churchill Downs. The 4yo races off a negative trainer change following a claim, but is a win candidate if she holds her recent form.
3rd pick: #5 (Morty) (8-1) - Filly ships from Indiana Downs where she raced both evenly and wide in a turf contest Oct. 30. In pretty good form overall, she's capable of getting a share at a big price.
4th pick: #6 (Blame the Dream) (10-1) - Veteran mare moves up in class after a win at Keeneland Oct 17 going 8.5 furlongs for a $7,500 price tag. The 6yo likes this distance 12-5-3-1 but most all of those came facing weaker. Think she's another that could get a minor award at long odds.
