2nd pick: #6 (Snapper Sinclair) (5-2) - Colt tired in a turf sprint Oct 17 at Keeneland in his first since tiring in the G1 Louisiana Derby at the Fair Grounds March 24. Son of 'City Zip' had missed by a 'nose' there in the Risen Star Stakes (G2) Feb 17. His latest was nothing more than a prep and he's back on the dirt while stretching out in distance.
3rd pick: #3 (Westerland) (8-1) - English bred raced both wide and evenly following a troubled start here Nov 2. Trainer Bill Mott brings him back quickly and had him breeze a half-mile Nov 12. Think he can grab a share at a square price.
4th pick: #7 (Noble Commander) (3-1) - Very lightly raced, he tired after a troubled break sprinting at Keeneland Oct 10. It was his first since the first part of the year when he went 3-2-0-1 including an easy win going 7 furlongs in a stakes for fellow Florida breds March 25 at Tampa Bay Downs.
