Improving with each attempt, she has a ground saving inside post and gets top billing.
2nd pick: #3 (Seattle Slang) (9-2) - She's switching from grass to dirt after a wide and even 4th place finish debuting here at one mile on the turf Sept. 21. Filly by 'Tapit' sold for $600,000 this past March and is from the barn of Steve Asmussen, 21% second time out in 2018-19.
3rd pick: #4 (Rivercane) (20-1) - Longshot tired after rushing up after a troubled break to finish seven lengths in back of 'Tempers Rising' at this distance Oct. 6 at Keeneland. It produced a career best figure, and she came back with a fine half-mile work here six days ago.
4th pick: #8 (Palace Miss) (4-1) - She rallied from far back to finish 3rd, 3.5 lengths in back of 'Tempers Rising' and three in front of 'Rivercane.' It was only her second start and was a nice move forward off her grass debut Sept. 13. A fast and/or contested pace would help her chances out.
