2nd pick: #9 (Champagnerie) (6-1) - She received good betting support when debuting Oct. 12 at Keeneland facing tougher. She lost all chance when forced to steady just past the 1/2 mile pole and should factor at a square price from a fine post at this distance.
3rd pick: #7 (Happy's Reflection) (3-1) - The morning line and probable favorite, she's finished second in both starts at Indiana Downs, one going 5 furlongs and the other at a mile. Freshened up since Sept. 22, speed/stalker is an obvious win candidate.
4th pick: #11 (Mom I Forgive You) (6-1) - Debuting filly is working steadily and is from a very good first out barn of Brad Cox (23%). Most of her works are of the stamina building variety but she did drill a near bullet half-mile at Ellis Park Sept. 15. It's noted that Cox's main rider Florent Geroux is aboard.
