Top pick: #3 (GO BLUE OR GO HOME) - He showed nothing last out going two-turns on the "all weather" surface at Woodbine in a contest that was swithed off the turf. Lightly-raced 3-year-old is clearly better on the grass and he's won from both on and off the pace. The move back to the infield with the addition of blinkers makes him the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #6 (Incredibly Smart) - Colt by "Smarty Jones" has been sharp in both starts at Presque Isle Downs since coming back from a 10 1/2 month layoff on Sept. 1. Trainer Jeff Thornbury will run this promising 3-year-old on the grass for the first time and he's a threat if he takes to the new surface.
3rd pick: #1 (Lake Victor) - He returns today for his first start since being taken off in a van on April 7th at Oaklawn Park. Colt by the grass sire "Langfuhr" had gone (5-2-2-0) on the dirt prior to getting injured and trainer Steve Asmussen has him working fast for his return. Bred for turf success and he has plenty of speed if ready.
