Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (SEEKING THE SOUL) (2-1) - He's looking for a repeat win in this stakes and has been carefully pointed towards it by trainer Dallas Stewart. He's made three starts since coming off of a pair of layoffs Sept. 1 and enters off a second-place finish in the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (G1) here Nov. 3. His local record stands at 9-3-2-2 and he'll be tough to beat in this spot.
2nd pick: #5 (Leofric) (3-1) - Very consistent speed/stalker enters off a win at this distance Oct. 27 at Keeneland in the Fayette Stakes (G2). Since moving the barn of Brad Cox at the beginning of 2017, he's gone 10-7-1-2 and he should be involved every step.
3rd pick: #1 (Prime Attraction) (7-2) - A solid performer in California, he had quite a battle last out at Keeneland with 'Leofric'. He set the pace and dug in gamely when that foe made a bid for the lead. He lost the stretch long fight by a 'head' but it was a fine effort in his first ever away from the West Coast.
4th pick: #2 (Hence) (12-1) - No speed type rallied to finish fourth last out but was just over 4 lengths behind both 'Leofric' and 'Prime Attraction'. Strong stretch runner will need a solid pace for anything more than a small slice of this.
