He was given a freshening after that by trainer Larry Pilotti. Gave gelding three months off and returned early in Calder meet on Apr. 20. He earned a competitive figure that fits well with these. That return was a sprint and trainer sees fit to try runner at a ground route today. Second off a layoff, and sprint to route is a strong move for the barn.
