One-run type won twice at Santa Anita last winter and is nicely spotted by Bob Hess Jr for her first since Sept. 18.
2nd pick: #5 (Spiced Latte) (12-1) - The main speed, she tired here facing tougher Nov. 16 in her first since Jan. 20. The Puype barn has worked her since and daughter of "Corinthian" is a front-end threat at long odds.
3rd pick: #6 (Lily's Perfect) (5-2) - Veteran mare has won three of her last four and rallied to score here on Nov. 16 facing slightly better. Strong finisher likes this surface at 6-2-1-1 and should get a solid pace to rally into.
4th pick: #4 (Mia Isabel) (6-1) - Grey filly exits the same Nov. 16 contest as "Latte" and was only a 1/2 length back of that rival after making a strong and wide bid turning for home. Race was her first in eight months, she has back class, and has won on this course in the past.
