Top pick: #5 (CABBAGE) (7-2) - Filly tired in her debut at Golden Gate Fields after having some traffic issues at the start and being forced to run wide while playing catch up. Reddam home-bred drops a bit and she gets a rider upgrade to Mario Gutierrez for this attempt.
2nd pick: #4 (Sweet Lips Pooh) (10-1) - Trainer Walt Solis is a bit of a 2-year-old specialist and has already saddled three maiden winners since the juvenile racing started on the So. Cal. circuit in 2013. Debuting filly has been in steady training since late Feb. and all 12 published drills have been on this surface. Back in March she had a pair of quick 3 furlong breezes including one from the gate on St. Patrick's Day. Dangerous.
