Top pick: #6 (SNUGGLEY BEAR) (7-2) - He enters off a career best when he finished second here at this level going 6-furlongs on Nov. 24. He's worked fine since and will be stretching out in distance.
2nd pick: #5 (Midnight Hawk) (3-1) - One of two debuting runners from the Baffert barn and both are working very fast. Grey son of "Midnight Lute" has Mike Smith aboard and is a win candidate for a great first out barn (25%).
3rd pick: #3 (Wynhurst) (5-2) - The other from Bob Baffert, colt by "Fairbanks" has Marty garcia aboard and his works match those of "Hawk". Obviously is in the win mix.
4th pick: #4 (Rough Passage) (4-1) - Well backed in his debut, he was away very poorly in his debut and rallied to finish 3rd, but was only 1 1/2 back of "Bear." Stretches out in distance and that should be in his favor.
