2nd pick: #3 (Miles Heir) (5-1) - One of two entered by trainer Vann Belvoir and the pair run as separate betting interests. Last out he finished a wide third at this level going a bit shorter and will stretch out to two turns again which he appears to prefer (11-2-3-0). The faster the pace, the better his chances.
3rd pick: #8 (Power Series) (2-1) - He just missed here facing slightly tougher at this distance Nov. 18 and that ran his record on synthetic surfaces to (7-2-4-1). One-run type is an obvious fit and grey gelding is a win candidate, though at a short price.
