Top pick: #9 (ART OFFICIAL) (9-2) - He's been bet in both starts and has been competitive in each. Last out he set a quick and pressured pace before tiring late to finish 4th of 10, beaten 2 1/2 lengths. Working nicely and the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #5 (Tribal Dude) (3-1) - Son of the popular "Tribal Rule" finished in front of "Art" two back on the grass, then tired badly here on the "poly" last out in the $60K NTRA stakes for maidens. His turf record is (4-0-2-1) and colt is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Lucky Cotton) (8-1) - Price play has been away "slowly" in both starts and has raced evenly once in stride. Dizney home-bred is working sharply for this, presumably with the blinkers on that he wears today.
4th pick: #4 (Follini) (7-2) - Colt makes his grass debut and he just missed at this level when debuting on the Santa Anita dirt March 1st. Last out he tired badly after rushing up following a slow start in the $200K "Echo Eddie" stakes on March 30th. Must be left in the mix.
