2nd pick: #3 (Cinder Cone) - One of a pair entered by trainer Chris Englehart and the two will race uncoupled. Hard-hitting 7-year-old by "Unusual Heat" loves to win and is working fast for his first start since late Oct. Has plenty of early speed, the level is fine, and he's a threat on the front-end.
3rd pick: #7 (Silver Birch) - The second of the Englehart runs first off a claim (a 35% winning angle) and this lightly-raced gelding finished a solid third at this distance here racing for $10K May 22nd. Runs second back off a two-month break and should be competitive in this spot.
