(# 7) MANITOWISH WATERS - Poor post in his first at Saratoga going twob turns, but still stayed on well. Much better effort when inside in next, finishing second after acting up before the race. Was involved in the running the whole race, but just missed. Trio of good works since, all at Belmont.

(# 8) Cowboy Cal - Showed speed from a bad post(10) sprinting at the Spa. Nice tuneup for this, good post and an excellent grass work in tow.

(# 2) Dynamalt - Debuts for the Mott barn and has an excellent turf work on Sept.3 at Saratoga on the training track. Million dollar "Dynaformer" yearling looks well prepared.

(# 5) Yacout - Blinkers go on for Dave Donk (a 16% move for the barn).Improved quite a bit in last when sent long on the grass.
