(# 6) By the Light - Another expensive yearling ($190,000) this one by Malibu Moon who is off to a fine start over the past few years. This filly comes by way of the Dick Dutrow barn and their stats with firsters of any age are phenomenal (19 for their last 68). Bejarano and Lasix add to the allure. (# 8) Nicely Put - Pretty fair turn of speed in debut run on June 29. Fractions he pressed from an outside draw were extremely quick (:21.8 and :45.40). Returns on relatively short notice for a two-year-old and have seen this type respond both ways.
