(# 4) PICTAVIA - Classy European mare should find the 1 3/8 miles of this race right in her productive range. Ran well in her initial pair of minor stakes after coming here, and trainer Suroor has regrouped with her a bit. Very nice drill on July 8 indicates she's ready for a top effort. Rare to see an import of quality have this many races (19).

(# 2) Greenery - Will get the distance, and I think that she has a shot at the win if the top selection doesn't show up with her best. Only sub-par race was when she tackled colts at Churchill while still a maiden last fall. She's on the improve and resides in the top turf barn of Clement.

(# 3) Bea Plus - Another who will not be tired at the end of this, as she seemingly can run all day. Generally hangs a bit even on a good day, and don't think she can win, but may crack the exacta.

(# 1) Eres Majica. - Beat a large field of mostly colts in the Chilean Derby last Nov. First pair in this country have gone poorly, and a turnaround is needed.
