(# 5) RAVEN H - Was a late scratch last time he was entered. Battled from an inside post in last - which is a terrible position to be in for a one-turn mile. Gelding probably needed that start, as it was his first in six weeks. Raced well over the winter, and it took him a bit of time to learn what it's all about. Broke his maiden with a huge figure on Feb 22. Soon after that win, trainer Tom Bush sent him in for a rest. Working well, and I think he'll run a big race in this spot. Should be involved in the pace.

(# 4) Stopbluffing - Has developed into a consistent closer who runs a good race no matter what the fractions. The faster the better for his style. Was sent to the sidelines after a busy winter, and has returned a better animal. Trainer Carrol is a much better trainer than his record indicates, year in and year out.

(# 3) Lorccan - Big effort in last, may have been a bit enhanced by the swift fractions that went on early in the race. Throw out his pair of turf tries and he's a reliable runner. Like the second pick, he likes to make a sustained late run. Would like it fast/contested up front.
