( # 4) EULOGIZE - Filly came here from Britain in fall of last season. Started twice in England, the initial one on turf against males ran an ok third. Followed that with a third-place finish over the all-weather surface at Kempton Park. Fast-forward to 2007, filly is now in the U.S., with a new trainer, Bob Ribaudo and racing at Gulfstream with Lasix in tow. Showed a lot of talent and gumption in two races over the turf down at Gulfstream. Missed by a neck when well-bet in seasonal debut. Drew a bad post (12) in second try and maybe they thought the best thing to do was gun from that slot. Never could clear and get over and paid the price late, tiring a bit down the lane. Now at Belmont, has a maintenance work, think she'll run very well.

(# 10) DEMURRER - Series of bad posts at Gulfstream may have cost her any chance at running better. The outside draw here at a mile on the turf is actually an advantage. Four-year-old is working very swiftly, presumably with the blinkers that she puts back on today.

The Plays: $10 to win and place on #4.
$4 exacta box on 4-10.
Total Wager = $28.00.
