Mare is (5-2-1-2) locally and her record on "off" going is (10-6-1-1). Last out at Saratoga in the G1 Ballerina S. she chased the fleet "Hilda's Passion" and although no match for her late, she did hold down the place spot. Working fast and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #6 (Pomeroy's Pistol) - May be the favorite today as she comes off a solid second-place finish at Saratoga in the G1 Test S. on August 6. Working fast at her home-base of Monmouth and this one run type will get a fast pace to rally into. Three-year-old takes on older rivals for the first time and has yet to run on a wet surface. Contender nontheless.
3rd pick: #4 (Tamarind Hall) - Capable of a big effort and she's improved dramatically of late. Only a neck off of "Mom" last out and this 4-year-old daughter of "Graeme Hall" is undefeated on wet tracks (3-for-3). Dangerous runner.
