BELMONT PARK Race #9 (THE DWYER STAKES (G2))

Top pick: #2 (DROSSELMEYER) - Talented and expensive ($600,000) son of "Distorted Humor" probably would have won the "Louisiana Derby" if not for the terrible post (13th of 13) that he drew that day as he was only beaten a length. Training nicely for "Hall of Famer" Bill Mott and he's strictly the horse to beat.

2nd pick: #7 (Fly Down) - Son of "Mineshaft" is in the Zito barn and they know a thing or two about winning big races. Colt has dangerous speed and is working very fast for his first race since a troubled trip in the "Louisiana Derby" (G2). He's the only entrant with a previous race on this deep surface, as he finished third in his debut here in late October. Win candidate.
